Sales Performance Training 300x198 Sales Performance Training

As a sales manager or business leader, it’s not your job to raise your company’s sales. It’s your job to implement a sales training that serves to grow salespeople in both quality and quantity each day. Here are five important initiatives in the sales performance training process.

1: Finding good people. This phase is all about employing great talent to your organization. Successful corporations are aggressive about their employing, and view employing not as an event but as a “process”. This meaning that employing is not just about adding new people to your team or replacing those who have left, but also an ongoing and continuous process. Recruiting is about continuously seeking out new talent.

2: Getting new persons to join your group. If you spent hours of aggressive recruiting top candidates, make sure you have prepared a professional and detailed presentation. Highlight products and services, advantages, features, and benefits as well.

3: Getting your new sales team trained. After adding talent to the team, the next stage is to quickly get them into the game. A decent sales training process gets new team members up and running quickly, and making superb results.

4: Grow your sales team into top producer. Training is an ongoing and continuous process. Salespeople face endless change in the marketplace each day. Not providing your team with continuous sales performance training may result in salesperson burnout or turnover.

5: Focus on keeping your sales force. The top 5 reasons they remained with their current company or stayed in their current position are: a positive work environment, recognition, respect, the opportunity for personal growth, and money.

Ways to Teach Kids About Money

May 17th, 2010

child1 300x199 Ways to Teach Kids About Money Teaching children about growing money is a lot easier than teaching them about the proverbial birds and the bees. The main reason for this would be that we can teach practical lessons about money. Children like to engage their sensory perceptions early. The right time to teach them about growing money is when they begin to understand concepts and have a basic understanding of arithmetic and the application of numbers. Teaching children about growing money is not synonymous with teaching them its value. Below are a few ways one can teach children about growing money.

THE RIGHT ATTITUDE

Thinking that you’re going to have a few grand tomorrow isn’t going to guarantee it. However, attitudes about money tend to be pervasive. Your own attitudes towards wealth accumulation may heavily influence children. It is important to impress on the young ones that money is a means to an end. With regard to actually growing money, children must understand that if they want something they should ask themselves “how can I afford it?”. Of course, with proper parenting the answer should be legal.

THE PIGGY BANK CONCEPT

Whether it’s the piggy bank or the old cookie jar, children would be able to understand the growth of money in a tangible way. They would be able to see and feel their savings grow before they grasp more complex issues like money value. Providing incentives to full the jar would be a welcome way of getting having them imbued with good savings habits. When they have explicit reasons for putting money in the jar, they would acquire a practical understanding of savings objectives and exercising discipline in sticking to a goal.

PLAYING MONEY-GAMES LIKE MONOPOLY

When my sister started playing the game, she felt richer when she had more “money” in hand. She soon realised that if you only made the rounds paying rent to other players, your money would dwindle. From this simple game, the concept of assets and asset value can be understood. Children would also learn the process of bargaining and negotiating, which would help them grow income-earning assets, not just money. Children would realise from playing a game such as this that an offer is not necessarily a bargain just because one’s selling price is higher than the cost price. I used to win a lot of games by enticing nave players with exorbitant offers early in the game.

March 4th, 2010

WAV is a lossless audio format created by Microsoft. Nowadays, it is a standard audio format in a computer environment – it is used in the game and system applications, in a high-quality sound on CDs, etc. Naturally, the format of WAV files can be played by all Windows applications that support sound. Audio files saved in WAV format, are characterized by a perfect sound. However, a very significant drawback is the size of these files. Average WAV file weighs five times more than MP3 one. Not surprisingly, the MP3 format has become one of the most popular formats, despite the fact that its sound quality is slightly worse. You save more disk space but get a slightly worse quality of sound. It is well worth to convert wav to mp3. Just imagine! Instead of a song you can be able to burn the whole album!
On the other hand, if you have to create an audio CD, you will need to convert MP3 to WAV. Normal CD burning software cannot always perform this operation, but a really good wav converter copes with any challenge easily.
Also, you have to deal with wav files in order to edit audio files, extract their fragments, or add some sound effects. It is very easy to convert WAV to MP3 or MP3 to WAV provided you use a good wav audio converter. The best tools of a kind enable you to convert MP3 to WAV, change channels (stereo/mono), or change the flow and frequency. In addition, there is an option of the simultaneous files conversion available. No matter how many files you want to convert – it may be 700 or just one – the process will not be complicated.
